Highlanders Fall To Island Storm

The Cape Breton Highlanders were back in action January 6th at Centre 200 against the Island Storm. 
Highlanders led the game 27-24 after the first quarter and at halftime Highlanders trailed the Island Storm 51-46. In the fourth quarter, the Island Storm grabbed the win 115-107 to earn the victory over the Highlanders in another close game that came down to the final minute of action. 

 

Hank Thorns led the Highlanders with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Shaquille Keith scored 20 points. Keith Thomas grabbed 16 points and 6 rebounds.

 

Jahill Carson led the Island Storm with 24 points and 4 assists. Terry Thomas scored 23 points, and Nick Okorie picked up 14 points and 4 assists.

 

The Cape Breton Highlanders face the Saint John Riptide Friday, January 13th , at the Harbour Station in Saint John.
